Reading the results
The score is out of 100: 75 and up reads Ready, 50 to 74 Almost, under 50 Not yet. Bars show savings, credit, income and debt, stability and preparedness, and three figures show the estimated payment, cash needed and debt-to-income.
Next steps lists what to do, such as how much more to save, credit work, or getting pre-approved.
Assumptions
The rate is a rough guess from the credit range, on a 30-year loan. Taxes and insurance are about 1.45% of price a year, PMI is 0.5% under 20% down, and closing costs are about 3%. It's not a pre-approval.
