Team lead
The agent who runs a team inside a brokerage. They usually supply leads and support, and take a team split from each member's deals.
Also called: team leader, rainmaker, real estate team

Team split
A split paid to a team on top of the brokerage split. A 50/50 team split means the team lead takes half of your side before the brokerage takes its share.
Lead generation
Finding people who may buy or sell soon. Examples: online ads, open houses, door knocking, expired listings and buying leads.
