How attractive a home looks from the street. Landscaping, paint, and a clean entry shape buyers' first impression before they walk in.

Arranging furniture and decor so a home photographs and shows well. Virtual staging adds furniture digitally to listing photos.
Showing
A scheduled visit to see a home that is for sale, usually with a buyer's agent. Sellers often set showing windows through a showing service.
Open house
A scheduled time when a listed home is open for anyone to walk through without an appointment. A broker open is one held just for agents.
Deferred maintenance
Upkeep that has been put off, like old paint, worn roofs, or aging systems. It lowers value and adds to what a buyer will spend after moving in.
