Agents and brokerages
VOW
A members-only website where registered consumers can see more MLS data than IDX shows, like sold prices. Users must sign up and agree to terms.

IDX
The MLS feed that lets agents show other brokerages' listings on their own websites. Each MLS sets display rules, like showing the listing brokerage's name.
MLS (multiple listing service)
The shared database where local agents post listings and share offers of cooperation. Only members can enter listings; the public sees them through IDX sites.
CRM
Software that keeps track of contacts, leads, notes and follow-ups. Agents use it to stay in touch with their sphere and new leads.
