Related terms
Revenue share
Money some brokerages pay you from the company's cut of deals closed by agents you sponsored. It doesn't come out of those agents' commissions.
Sponsor
The agent you name when you join a revenue-share brokerage. Your sponsor can earn revenue share from the company's cut of your deals. You keep your full split.
Cloud brokerage
A brokerage without traditional offices. Agents work remotely and use online tools, which often means lower fees and a higher split.
